Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia, bordered by Myanmar and Laos to the north, Cambodia to the south-east, Malaysia and Singapore to the east, and Andaman Sea to the west.

Thailand is a constitutional monarchy with King Maha Vajiralongkorn as head of state. The Thai people are known for their love of family and their devotion to Buddhism. The country has been through many changes over its history including periods of absolute monarchy, military dictatorship, democracy and even periods when it was under foreign occupation.
